Suburban Emergency Associates, P.A. has staffed St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee since August of 2000. Suburban Emergency Associates, P.A. was established by two former Medical Directors from Fairview Southdale’s Emergency Department with the singular focus of great emergency care. The group quickly grew from five to fifteen board-certified emergency physicians that are all graduates of top emergency medicine residencies.

Our mission statement is simply— do what is right for the patient. Suburban Emergency Associates, P.A. has trademarked the slogan, When Quality Makes a Difference™ with the belief that quality care makes a difference when one needs an emergency room. Our focus on expedited, quality service helped us establish the metro shortest wait times via the introductions of innovative models such as bedside triage and use of back-up call physicians to handle patient volume surges.
